Letter LXXV: Marcus Aurelius to Marcus Cornelius Fronto

F austina has been feverish to-day also, and, in fact, I fancy I have noticed it more to-day. But the Gods be thanked she herself makes me less anxious by being such an obedient patient. Of course you would have come had you been able. I am rejoiced that you can come now, and promise to do so, my master. Farewell, most delightful of masters.

Lorium, 145–147 A.D.

To my master.
